Delete Your Account

Billfold by Cyberdanes Technologies

You can permanently delete your Billfold account and all associated data directly from the app. Follow the steps below.

How to Delete Your Account

Open the Billfold app on your device.
Go to the Settings tab (bottom navigation bar).
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Confirm by tapping Delete in the confirmation dialog.

Your account will be deleted immediately and you will be signed out.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

Your user profile and email address
All receipts, including images and OCR data
All gift cards, including encrypted card numbers and PINs
All tags and categories
Subscription and usage records

This action cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

Data Retention

All user data is deleted immediately upon account deletion. No data is retained after deletion, with the following exceptions:

Crash logs (collected by Sentry) are anonymised and do not contain personal data. These are retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes.
Subscription records managed by Apple or Google may be retained by those platforms according to their own policies.

Alternative: Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at cyberdanes101@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.
